As part of UC Merced’s continued efforts to enhance administrative services and better support campus operations, the Center for Business Services and Solutions (CBS2) department is undergoing a structural transition.
Beginning in April 2025, the services previously provided by CBS2 have been realigned under new centralized units within Procurement and Contracting Services, Travel and Expense Management, and the Office of the Vice Chancellor/CFO. These changes follow the announcement from the Division of Finance and Administration and is designed to ensuring greater efficiency, policy compliance, and enhanced customer service across the university.
